The last two races of the 2006 MotoGP season featured appearances by the Ilmor SRT team, which took points in both races with the 800cc Ilmor X3 machine ridden by Garry McCoy! Daniel Reardon, riding the Kawasaki Racing Team’s KX450F (Akrapovic exhaust), has wrapped up the 2006 Supercross Masters title by winning the first two heats at the final round in Wollongong on Saturday night. The win at Wollongong meant Reardon has won three of the five rounds which made up the Supercross Masters this year.
Reardon, who won the 2005 Supercross Lites title aboard a KX250F, now has the premier Australian Supercross Champion title to add to his title collection, not forgetting his second overall placing in the 2006 Australian Motocross Championship received earlier this year.
