SLIP-ON SP SERIES EXHAUST SYSTEM for the YAMAHA XT 660 X/R (2004 - 2008)

We have developed an Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series partial exhaust system for the popular Yamaha all-rounder. The Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series system is intended for everyday riders looking for a great combination of price, quality and performance. The Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series is approved for street use.In addition, the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system with the use of 94dB noise damper insert conforms to FIM Enduro regulations on exhaust system noise levels. You will also save 6.5 kg compared to the stock exhaust system.

Performance

Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP SERIES system on the YAMAHA XT 660R (without noise damper):

Power: the utility and purpose of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series is shown in the power curve, which is identical in shape to the stock curve. The system delivers an increase in power throughout the entire rpm range, following the same pattern as the stock set-up. The increase is nearly the same throughout the range, with a slightly higher increase near the top and in the overrev range. At 6000 rpm the system delivers over 44 HP.
Torque: the torque is also increased throughout the range, and also follows the stock curve. The maximum difference appears in the middle of the range, which is right where you need it for everyday riding.
