Akrapovic Racing Exhaust System for Speedway
The Akrapovic Racing exhaust system is designed for riders who demand maximum performance from their motorcycle. It features exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and optimized engine performance combined with sound output in accordance with FIM Technical Rules for Track Racing (Art. 01.31). The Racing system uses stainless steel header tube and muffler with welded link pipe. The muffler is of a closed type design with chambers and does not allow any additional modifications or repair.

Dear Riders
As previously communicated through FIM, the current homologated silencers are only authorized for use until 31.12.2009.
A new silencer for Speedway, Long Track and Ice racing has recently been homologated in conformity with FIM Technical Rules for Track Racing (Art. 01.31) in terms of type and construction, following inspection and sound level tests.
The new silencer is manufactured by Akrapovic d.d. and will be compulsory in all FIM Track Racing World Championship meetings as from 1 January 2010.
