The Akrapovic SLIP-ON is designed for riders who want to improve the performance of their machines and add aesthetic enhancement without making a major modification to the motorcycle. We use only top quality stainless steel and titanium for durability and performance. The Akrapovic Slip-On system is also EC Type approval.
Performance
Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system on the BMW R 1200 GS (without muffler insert):
Power & Torque: the SLIP-ON system increases power output throughout the entire rpm range, especially at the top end. The exhaust system also delivers increased torque. Like the power curve, torque is increased throughout the range, which is well suited to the character and design of the motorcycle. You will also save weight and benefit from sportier sound.
