Suzuki Grandys duo team members Daniel Bukowski, Andy Meklau, and Marko Jerman triumphed in all classes at the Sunday race in Poznań.
This past weekend (24 and 25 June) the third round of the Polish championship took place at the Poznań circuit. The Suzuki Grandys duo team is celebrating its racers’ performance because they won all classes at the Sunday race. Daniel Bukowski won the Supersport class, Andy Meklau the Superstock 1000 class and the Grandys duo Formula X-Treme race, and Marko Jerman was invincible in the Superbike class.
Team manager Jacek Grandys is of course thrilled with their success on home turf: “I’m very happy because today we confirmed that we’re the best in our country. I wish all races this season were as successful, but the season’s long and anything can happen. We just need to make up for the disappointment we had in Slovakia. Today we celebrated the successes, but tomorrow we’ll prepare for the next round at Most in the Czech Republic. Next week on July third and fourth we’re holding a track day at the Slovakia Ring and inviting all riders who want to take part in our team track day.”
After a less promising start to the season, the team members are now making good progress in the overall standings. In the Supersport class, Bukowski currently holds second place, Meklau is fifth in the Superstock 1000 class, and Jerman leads both the Grandys duo Formula X-Treme class and the fastest Superbike class with a convincing 42-point advantage over the second-ranked racer.
