The amazing Pole finished the hardest one-day Enduro race in the world in first place for the fifth time in a row. Among the five hundred riders that took part in this extreme test at an Austrian iron mine, he was the first to cross the finish line after only two hours and twelve minutes.

“I’m certainly very happy that I could win again today. First because it seems like the course is more difficult every year and second because we also had to fight with the weather. I made a few mistakes at Carl’s Diner, where I lost a lot of time and gave up the lead to Jarvis when I took a bad line,” Taddy described his fifth time to participate in this inhumanly tough race.  “When I finally got out of there I just thought ‘push, push, push.’ Then at the next checkpoint I wondered why I was the first one there. From that point on, I just tried to get through without making any mistakes. I really want to thank all of the team for doing such a great job. Naturally I’m here on the bike every year, but without my fantastic KTM team this series of wins just wouldn’t be possible—many thanks!”

Out of the five hundred riders gathered at the start, only nine managed to successfully complete their struggle with sand, mud, and rocks: in addition to Blazusiak, these also included Dougie Lampkin (Gas Gas), Jonny Walker (KTM), Ben Hemingway (KTM), Xavi Galindo (Husaberg), Dan Hemingway (KTM), Taichi Tanaka (KTM), Chris Birch (KTM), and Lars Enöckl (KTM).
