The best Akrapovic rider of the first, almost a 100 kilometers long race was James Toseland with a Yamaha. He shared the podium with another Akrapovic user – Leon Camier with an Aprilia. Corser, Biaggi, Smrz and Crutchlow have also won points in this first race. Points from the second race, also 22 laps long, were, in addition to Toseland, who took 3rd place, also divided among Biaggi, Corser, Smrz, and Xaus. Aprilia’s Max Biaggi is the best placed rider with an Akrapovic exhaust system in the overall standing. Toseland’s standing also significantly improved after the Grand Prix of the Netherlands. Currently he is fifth.
