HM Plant Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari became the
2006 Bennetts British Superbike Champion at the famous Kent circuit of
Brands Hatch after a win and a second place finish aboard his
Michelin-shod Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. The 24-year-old is the first
Japanese rider to win the British Championship and in doing so brings
home the coveted British title for the manufacturer for the first time
