Jarvis Best Again in the Land of Dracula
19. June 2012
Graham Jarvis triumphed on his Husaberg at the demanding multi-day Enduro Rally near the Romanian town of Sibiu. Erzberg winner Jonny Walker (KTM) ended up third.

For the ninth year now, the Romanian town of Sibiu and its surrounding hills have been the setting of a multi-day race that’s considered a combination of Enduro and Rally because after the prologue in the town center the racers spend four days battling the demanding terrain in the hills following instructions from a tiny navigation device. After being disqualified at Erzberg only a week before, the skilled Graham Jarvis (Husaberg) deserved his triumph at the Red Bull Romaniacs.

Graham’s comment after five days of extreme Enduro racing: “The first three days of the race went just perfect for me. I was able to pull a good gap on my competitors and had some great rides. Today I crashed and drowned my bike, which lost me some time so I decided to take it easy into the finish. I’m really happy about my third victory, it’s just great to be on the top of the podium again!”

He was joined on the PRO class podium by Andreas Lettenbichler (Husqvarna) and Erzberg winner Jonny Walker (KTM).
