Bernhard Misses First Place by Only a Second
30. August 2010
It’s been a long wait, but Porsche factory driver Timo Bernhard is once again behind the wheel of his Porsche RS Spyder, the car with which he has already achieved great results in the US.

Bernhard had an excellent second-place finish in round seven of this year’s American Le Mans Series in Elkhart Lake, along with his teammate Klaus Graf. After completing all 69 laps on the legendary 6.5 km Road America, the racers missed first place by only a second. The winner of this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours, Bernhard continues to run an extremely busy schedule: he will be driving his winning Audi R15 TDI at the Le Mans Series race in Silverstone the second weekend in September. And that’s not all: as a big rally fan, he’ll also be taking the opportunity to try out Matthias Kahle’s Skoda Fabia S2000 at the shakedown of the ADAC Saarland Rally, a round of the German Rally Championship.
