This time Akrapovic will be more actively involved in this incredibly difficult race, in which the endurance of both man and machine are continually pushed to their limits. We’ll be using Dakar as a welcome opportunity to test the endurance of our exhaust systems on a KTM 450 Rally Replica dirt bike sporting the Akrapovic colors. It will be ridden by the seasoned Slovenian motorcyclist Miran Stanovnik, the “Desert Fox,” who will be aiming for the best finish possible. This will be Stanovnik’s fourteenth time to participate in this rally, and so the number fourteen will also adorn the KTM’s exhaust system.
