The latest Akrapovič exhaust released to the automobile market is an Evolution Line system for the BMW 335i (F30). Manufactured from premium grade austenitic stainless steel, this catalyser-back exhaust from Akrapovič encompasses the latest exhaust construction technology to ensure cabin refinement at all engine speeds, performance increase, and precise fitment… and the famed Akrapovič exhaust tone.

Constructed throughout in stainless steel, the Evolution Line replacement exhaust features formed and welded dual central link pipes to maximise performance, a specialised muffler box, and an Akrapovič-made sound control valve that simply plugs into the 335i wiring system to utilise the standard BMW ECU settings. This system allows the exhaust to ‘breathe’ at higher engine revs and retain a near standard-like tone at lower engine rpm.

The Evolution Line exhaust has been constructed to allow the retention of the original catalyser and does not cause any CEL (Check Engine Light) issues. The system is also EC-Type approved.

To complement the stylish lines of the BMW 335i, Akrapovič retained the original BMW format of dual exit tailpipes but finished the Evolution Line tailpipes with distinctive heat resistant carbon fibre surrounds – manufactured by the specialist composite division of Akrapovič.
Because of its less restrictive nature and lighter construction, the Akrapovič Evolution Line exhaust delivers additional performance by way of increases in power and torque output, improved power-to-weight ratio and improved throttle response.
