Slip-On exhaust system for Nissan GT-R

Nissan´s new super car’s nickname is Godzilla and off course we kept that in mind when developing the new titanium Slip-On exhaust system for it. Usage of light, strong and durable materials for the Akrapovič aftermarket Slip-On exhaust system allows Godzilla to have a richer sound, and the performance is more sporty because of additional power. We even put our own signature on GT-R´s design – just look for aggressive titanium or carbon fiber tail pipes underneath the recognizable Nissan taillights.
Performance
With almost 1.8 tons, Nissan´s GT-R is one of the heaviest sports cars. So an appropriate diet is very important to increasing its performance. Just the Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system, which is an entry level procedure in GT-R´s tuning, makes an 8,42 kilogram difference, which is almost half that of the stock system. Our engineers improved the weight to power ratio by adding more power. With an Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system, the GT-R has 8,1 HP more (at 6.260 rpm) and 11,6 Nm more (at 2.140 rpm), power was particularly improved at highest revs – from 5.000 rpm on, where the stock system cannot compete with the capabilities of the Slip-On. The combination of lowering the weight and increasing the power makes the 4-wheel drive GT-R more agile and faster. The system is made off titanium and offers that unique Akrapovic sound, which is more aggressive but still civil enough for daily use.
